Scientists have found the system contains five planets orbiting a sun-like star HD10180. There is evidence that there are two more planets like our solar system makes in terms of the number of planets.
A total of five strongest signal associated with the Neptune-mass planets like between 13 to 25 Earth masses orbiting the star with a period of 6 to 600 days.
"Studies on the movement of the planets of this new system reveals the complex gravitational interactions between the planets and provide long-term view on the evolution of the system," said Christophe Lovis inventor of that system (read : 4 Matahari di china).
Among the two other planets are there, one of which is similar to planets orbiting Saturn in 2200 days. The rest will be the largest planet ever found with about 1.4 times Earth's mass. So far astronomers only know about 15 systems with three planets. Last record is held by the 55 Cancri is composed of five planets and two of them are giant planets.
Another important result found by astronomers is the relationship between the mass of planetary systems and chemical content of mass stars.
The discovery was announced today in the international seminar "Detection and dynamics of transiting exoplanets", at the Observatoire de Haute-Provence, France, Blogger Setia
